Report from BOM Meeting dated January 21st, 2021

A meeting of the BOM of St Pauls NS took place on January 21st last remotely on Zoom at 8pm

All members of the BOM attended.

  • Minutes of last meeting were read and adopted.
  • Matters arising included
  1. ASD unit .Application sent to DES on December 22nd and we are awaiting response from  DES.
  2. Per cent Art scheme committee being set up to proceed with ideas for school.
  3. Confirmation and Holy Communion dates set provisionally…discussion on Confirmation   preparation programme for pupils /parents on line.
  4. Principal /Chairman met with Limerick co council to discuss safety measures for school— including walking and cycling to school.
  • Treasurer gave a statement of account to the BOM.
  • Principal gave a report on remote learning over last few week
  1. Very positive engagement by pupils and parents on Class dojo platform.
  2. Parent feedback very positive. Teachers reinforcing teachers work was making a huge difference.
  • Child protection oversight report – nothing to report.
  • ​Parents Association  
  1. Looking to collect unwanted devices to give to pupils in need for remote learning.
  2.  Parents offered their help to assist with Holy Communion / Confirmation Sacraments.
