Mervin, Skye and Claire from Learn It delivered a 90 minute LEGO Robotics workshop to Ms Geary’s 5th class on December 13th.
Each group made a Lego robotic arm which they programmed it to pick up objects.
We would like to thank Analog Devices and Learn It for affording us the opportunity to learn about electronics and robotics by building our own robots.
We also received 4 explore Marine Lego sets to use with our existing Spike Lego. As a reward each student was gifted a Lego medal which they made afterwards. A thoroughly enjoyable session.
The WINNING team on the day were Mina Sheikh Raji, Sarah Ousmane and Angel Castejon and RUNNERS-UP were Cian Buckley, Casey Flynn and Evelyn Egan. Well done to the whole class for taking part.
Mina, Sarah and Angel will now go forward to represent St. Paul's in the Semi Finals which will take place in March.
