Report from Board of Management Meeting Report

October 22nd, 2020

 

A meeting took place of the B.O.M of St. Paul’s N.S remotely on October 22nd at 8pm.

  • Seven members were present remotely as the meeting was conducted through the platform of Zoom.
  • The Chairman opened the meeting with a prayer.
  • Minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted.
  • Matters arising included comment from Board Members about clarity and detail of school accounts which would be published for parents in the Newsletter and on School App.
  • Under Correspondence a letter had been received by the B.O.M for the SENO on behalf of the National Council for Special Education.  A request was being made in schools in the Limerick City area to set up A.S.D units. Clarification and a meeting would be sought with the SENO manager
  • The Treasurer gave a statement of account to the B.O.M. There was €59K in the bank to support the school until January 2021.
  • The Principal reported on the following matters: -
    • COVID-19 update
    • Safety and Traffic outside the school.
    • County Council – Bike Rack
  • Child protection oversight report given by Principal - no concerns to report.

The next meeting will take place in late November.
