Thanks to all who have signed up for School Hot Meal scheme which will commence in our school on Tuesday, Feb 3rd.
Gourmet system is locked now so you can not change or place orders now for the week of 03/02 , The week of 09/02 will open at 9am tomorrow, Thursday, Jan 30th.
Each class will be shown a short video tomorrow or Tuesday morning on how to use the food container they will receive from Gourmet kids, It is a short step by step video showing pupils on how to use the lunch box to reduce spillage/mess.
All food will go home in the lunchbox and the lunchbox must be put into your child's schoolbag for the following day.

UPDATE 23/1/2026
Dear Parent
Your child will have received a letter today with regards to the Hot School Meals. This letter has an activation code for you to register your child for the free Hot Meals. If you have not received a letter, please email Marion at stpaulsdooradoyle@gmail.com.
The ordering system with Gourmet Kids is now Open and will close on Wednesday 28th January at 11.59pm, please ensure you order before this date.
If you have any issues registering or ordering, contact Gourmet Kids before the cut off time & date
If you are ordering the meals then you should not still send in a packed BIG lunch, as this will only lead to unnecessary waste. BUT please remember that you will need to send in a snack for small break.
Always order 5 meals - 1 per day (NO MEAL which is a meal option must be selected if you do not wish to receive meals on certain days).
NB. It is very important that as our school is starting on a week that has a bank holiday that you still order a meal for Monday, Feb 2nd even though the school is closed. DO NOT select ‘No Meal’ for Monday, Feb 2nd as the menu rolls on from week to week so if you do not order a meal for Monday, February 2nd, then the following Monday your child will not receive a meal. Gourmet Kids will know that a meal is not required for the 2nd of Feb as they have our school calendar but it is important that you select a meal.

Dear Parent
We are delighted to announce that St. Paul’s Primary is now offering free hot school meals as part of the Irish Government’s initiative to provide nutritious lunches for all students.
This programme ensures that every child has access to a healthy, balanced meal each day.
An e-tender process was undertaken, and Gourmet Kids was appointed to provide the Free School Meals service.
The proposed start date is Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026.
On Friday, January 23rd your child will receive a letter. In this letter you will find information on how to register and order meals for your child. The activation code in the letter is unique to your child.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOLBAG.
After registering, you will have up Wednesday, Jan 28th to place your order in order for your child to receive his/her hot meal on Tuesday, Feb 3rd, 2026. PLEASE NOTE THE CUT OFF DATE
Please note, you will still need to provide a snack for your child for small break.
